Job Description:
A company is looking for a Data Scientist, Computational
Genomics.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement machine learning algorithms for
genomic data analysis
Collaborate with experts to solve complex problems in computational
biology
Analyze biological data, focusing on DNA sequence data to uncover
insights
Required Qualifications
Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in a relevant field such as
Computational Biology or Bioinformatics
Extensive experience with machine learning techniques in a
biological context
Advanced programming skills in Python and proficiency with Linux
Bash
Strong foundations in AWS services including SageMaker, Glue, and
Athena
Deep understanding of genetics, genomics, and DNA sequence
analysis
