Job Description:
A company is looking for an Associate Computational
Scientist.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct computational analysis of omics data and develop
algorithms
Ensure data quality assurance and perform bioinformatics database
mining
Present research findings at international conferences and
workshops
Required Qualifications
A PhD in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Biostatistics, or a
related field is required
A minimum of 2-5 years of bioinformatics research experience,
excluding the duration of PhD studies
Experience in programming with Python and/or R
Knowledge of High Throughput Sequence (HTS) data analysis and
experimental design
Ability to mentor students and contribute to grant applications
