A company is looking for a Reimbursement Specialist - Ambulatory
- Days.
Key Responsibilities
Improve revenue collection for high-cost medications requiring
prior authorization
Coordinate benefit investigations and Patient Assistance Programs
for patients
Update patient case management systems and assist with medication
refills and transfers
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Current certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification
Board (PTCB)
Current licensure with the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy
Minimum of one (1) year previous pharmacy practice experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of three (3) years experience with Manufacturers Patient
Assistance Programs
