Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting
who will lead the accounting team and manage complex technical
accounting topics.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the subject matter expert in complex accounting topics,
including equity and debt transactions, leases, and financial
statement preparation
Provide technical accounting guidance for new initiatives and
maintain financial accounting policies and procedures
Oversee two direct reports, manage relationships with third-party
vendors, and support annual audits
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting/Finance
US CPA with 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Experience with Big 4 public audit and industry experience
preferred
Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and stock-based compensation
Experience managing direct reports and third-party vendors
