A company is looking for a Founding AI/ML Engineer to define and execute its technology strategy.



Key Responsibilities

Architect and develop an AI-driven platform to automate and optimize freight brokerage operations
Design and implement AI-driven automation for back-office processes using natural language processing and autonomous systems
Recruit and lead a high-performing engineering team while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technology with business goals


Required Qualifications

Previous experience as a co-founder, founding engineer, or early-stage technical leader in a VC-backed startup
Proven ability to take concepts from ideation to MVP and scale, particularly in AI-driven SaaS or automation-heavy platforms
Strong experience with LLMs, agentic workflows, and AI-driven automation
Expertise in building secure, scalable multi-user platforms that integrate with freight brokerage systems
Experience designing robust, cloud-based architectures capable of handling large-scale logistics data
